On January 29, 2024, approximately 120 students (Class 6th to 9th Standard), along with 10 teachers from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, visited CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute as part of the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM Shri) scheme.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to interact with scientists and staff from various departments and to understand the research programs of the institute. The students were initiated into higher learning and research.
