CSIR-CLRI proudly celebrated its 79th Foundation Day on 24 April 2026. Award of Appreciation Certificate were presented to staff and students Foundation Day Celebrations. Researchers who have published in high impact factor journals and those with patents filed / granted are given the certificates. Young Scientist Seminar was successfully conducted on 24 April 2026 as part of the CLRI Foundation Day celebrations. The event showcased innovative research and presentations by young scientists, and the winners were felicitated with certificates during the celebrations. MoU between Vels Group of Institutions and CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute to foster collaboration in academic, research and innovation initiatives. Prestigious B.M. Das Memorial Lecture delivered by Dr. D Srinivasa Reddy, Director, CSIR-IICT on “Efforts in Drug Discovery through Natural Products and Process Development with Low Carbon Footprint.”
